Nailed it ... Katy Perry knows how to do political support the unconventional way
KATY Perry has shown her support for US President Barack Obama — by painting his face on her fingernails.
The singer, 27, who also daubed stars, stripes and the Democratic Party’s donkey logo on her nails, is backing him for another term in the White House.
Pop star Katy also crooned for the US commander in chief at an LA fundraiser on Sunday, tweeting afterwards: “I sang for President @BarackObama last night because I believe in Equal Rights.”
Other stars who joined her at the event were Bon Jovi, Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder.
Perry performed her song Firework as well as Al Green cover Let’s Stay Together at the concert, dubbed 30 Days to Victory in a nod to the election date of November 6.
