Gavin and bracey

James Cordon and Paul Potts
Gnashers ... James Cordon, left, and Paul Potts

IF the CGI dinosaurs in Jurassic Park had been crap, STEVEN SPIELBERG would have had a turkey rather than a T-Rex of a movie on his hands.

And if JAMES CORDEN’s teeth aren’t wonky enough in the PAUL POTTS film, it will be like Flipper playing Jaws. The actor had his most important day on the Hollywood project so far yesterday — giving six new mega-expensive sets of false teeth a spin.
The gnashers were so important that movie mogul HARVEY WEINSTEIN flew over from the US to make sure the right set were chosen.
A source said: “James spent six hours in the dentist’s chair at Ealing Studios with an army of people chipping in.
“The full make-up and wardrobe team had a say, with the director, producers and exec producers offering their thoughts.
“He filmed a full camera test ahead of filming kicking off next week.
“It’s such a key part of the project to get right. Paul Potts is a distinctive-looking bloke, and his face is so well known in the UK, they have to get it spot on.”
Paul, a former Carphone Warehouse manager from Bristol, became a household name when he won Britain’s Got Talent singing Nessun Dorma back in 2007.
One Chance starts filming next week in Venice now that James, has the right teeth in place.
It did mean he had to turn down a US GQ Award for Man Of The Year though, so there are some drawbacks.
But he had even more good news yesterday. BBC2 has just commissioned a six-part series of a comedy-thriller called Wrong Trousers, which he has co-written with pal MATHEW BAYNTON.
