IT’S not often SHAGGY gets quoted on Bizarre, but his lyric “It wasn’t me” was on repeat with the ONE DIRECTION boys yesterday.

TAYLOR SWIFT invited one of the lads for an intimate dinner at a plush hotel before she left the country on Sunday — but none of the lads are owning up.

Taylor, who has been over promoting her new album, booked dinner for two at Luton Hoo after Sunday’s Radio 1 Teen Awards.

But when Bizarre caught wind of the plans, it was suddenly cancelled as she headed off on her private jet back to the US.

Now here’s the thing. She has a boyfriend — CONOR KENNEDY — and spent a few quid on presents for him earlier in the week.

She was coy when asked about the British chart-toppers at the weekend — and dodged a question about her favourite member.

But she is pally with HARRY STYLES — who last night coughed the famous Shaggy line. Just as he did with NATALIE IMBRUGLIA.

That leaves newly single LIAM PAYNE and NIALL HORAN in the frame, as ZAYN MALIK and LOUIS TOMLINSON are loved up.

So unless wee CONOR MAYNARD is pretending to be in the biggest boyband in the country, someone's telling porky pies.

A source said: “Taylor’s team whisked her off to Luton after the awards. She had a private jet at Luton Airport ready to take her back to the US at 10pm.

“All her staff were told she was having a private dinner with one of the guys from One Direction.

“It was all cancelled abruptly, and nothing more was said.”

Louis is well out of the frame here. He told me he was heading to Manchester for some “sweet loving” with other half Eleanor Calder.

Taylor is back in the country for more promo work soon. Might be best to bring Mr Kennedy.
